Below are instructions for setting up the 48-Bit HID Corporate Card with the Axis A1001.

  1. Navigate to the Hardware Manager.
  2. Unlock the module by clicking the lock/unlock Click on the Axis A1001 controller. Under the Properties window, click on the field for Card Formats to access the Card Formats window. (See Figure 1)

  1. Select a blank card format OR select a card format not being used. In the Card Formats window, enter the following information as specified below:

Note: The facility code in the example below is 3771. Facility codes change from site to site. Please ensure that you enter the proper facility code for your site. setting-up-the-48-bit-hid-with-a1001_2 setting-up-the-48-bit-hid-with-a1001_3

  1. Click Save in the Card Formats window.
