Introduction
The SEM Bridge device is a hardware device that connects network cameras to Enterprise Manager.
Supported hardware
The SEM Bridge supports the following hardware.
Run the setup wizard
The setup wizard helps you configure your SEM Bridge device. The setup wizard runs automatically when you first turn on the SEM Bridge device, but you can also run the setup wizard at any time.
Overview page
The Overview page displays information about, and the health of, the SEM Bridge device.
Settings page
The Settings page displays configuration information and options for the SEM Bridge device.
Log in to an SEM Bridge device
You can use a browser to log in to the SEM Bridge Web interface.
Configuration
Configure the SEM Bridge device using the Settings page or running the Setup Wizard.
Configure the SEM Bridge device
You can configure the SEM Bridge device manually (rather than using the setup wizard) in the SEM Bridge Web interface.
Add a network connection
You can add a second network connection using a USB network adapter.
Update
You can update both the SEM Bridge firmware and the firmware for cameras attached to the SEM Bridge device.
Update SEM Bridge firmware
You can update the firmware for the SEM Bridge device using a maintenance settings policy in Enterprise Manager.
Update SEM Bridge firmware manually
You can update SEM Bridge firmware on the Settings page in the SEM Bridge Web interface.
Update camera firmware
You can update the firmware for cameras that are connected to the SEM Bridge device using a camera firmware policy in Enterprise Manager.
