Create a user group for suspending access to video

To suspend access to video, you must create a user group and add the group to the Symphony database.

  1. In the server configuration interface, perform the following tasks:
    1. Create a group called UserBanGroup.
    2. Add any users that you want to prevent from viewing video to the UserBanGroup.
    3. If you want to suspend access to video on video walls, add users who can log in to video wall clients to the UserBanGroup.
  2. In the client interface, perform the following tasks:
    1. Click Server Configuration > Manual Configuration Editor.
    2. Click Add a new setting.
    3. Enter the following values: 
      Type = Global
Section = Main
ID = <empty>
Key = LiveBanGroup
Value = UserBanGroup
    4. Press Enter.
    5. Click OK.
