Restore from a local backup

You can restore configuration settings for a Symphony Server from the local backup path.

1. In the server configuration interface, click Settings > Backup & Restore.
2. To restore the configuration settings from a Symphony Server that is not part of the server farm, select Restore backup from different hardware, excluding license.
3. Click the Restore local backup tab.
4. To show compatible backup files in the local path, select Show only compatible versions.
5. Select the backup file.
6. Click Restore.
