Exporting Video to your PC

You can export video from the AIRA server two different ways.

1. You can perform a Advanced Search or Quick Search,  and save it to disk from the View Search Results dialog.

2. You can export video by selecting a time period to export using Bookmarks.

Option 1 Using Advanced or Quick Search

Perform your search in the normal way, and select the More button in the View Search Results dialog. You will have the option to save the video as .aira or .mpeg format to your PC.

Option 2 Using Bookmarks to export Video

1. Click on the Time Line to the location you wish to begin the export.

2. Select Bookmarks > Set Movie Clip Start.  Alternatively, you can right click on the Time Line and select Set Movie Clip Start.
   
   
    

3. Click on the Time Line at the location you wish to end the export.

4. Select Bookmarks > Set Movie Clip End.  Alternatively, you can right click on the Time Line and select Set Movie Clip End.

5. You should now have two white arrows displayed on the Time Line.
   
   
    

6. Select Bookmarks > Save Movie Clip to compile the video.  The Save Movie Clip dialog appears. Enter a descriptive name and hit OK to save clip.
   
   
    

7. The View Search Results dialog appears. Click the More button to save the Movie Clip to your computer.
