The following guide provides steps to configure and initialize the DMP controller panel in the Symphony AC Software. Use this guide as a quick reference. Please contact Senstar Corporation for questions. Considerations Prior to Setup The DMP driver supports the following:

  • Arm/Disarm area
  • Bypass/Unbypass point
  • Activate/Deactivate output

On start of panel communication, the status of points, areas and outputs are retrieved from the panel. Due to time resolution on the panel not being fine enough o support seconds, events are retrieved every minute. All commands that are sent via Symphony AC will have near real time event response. The following events are currently generated by the panel:

  • II001 – Monitor Point Disarmed
  • II002 – Monitor Point Armed
  • BH013 – Forced Point
  • BH014 – Fire Alarm
  • BH015 – Fire Trouble
  • BH019 – Alarm
  • OO001 – Control Point Deactivated
  • OO002 – Control Point Activated
  • SA001 – Group/Area is Enabled
  • SA002 – Group/Area is Disabled
  • SA004 – Close Window Violation
  • PO020 – AC Power restored
  • PO030 – backup battery restored
  • PO010 – panel tamper restored
  • BH100 – backup communications line restored
  • PO021 – AC Power Failure
  • DO499 – low backup battery

Setting Up the DMP Hardware I. Setting Up the DMP Controller in Symphony AC

  1. Launch Symphony AC and navigate to the Hardware Manager module. Unlock the module by clicking the lock in the command toolbar. Right click in the hardware tree and select “Edit” to display the “Add Driver” command from the popup menu. Click on “Add Driver” to view the “Add a New Driver” popup menu.

  1. From the “New Driver” popup menu, click on the “Alarm System Drivers” category. Select the “DMP XR-100 Alarm Panel” driver. Click the OK 

  1. Select the driver from the hardware tree. Right click on the driver to bring up the popup menu. Select “Edit” and then “Add Controller.”

  1. The DMP controller must be added manually. In the alternative, you can manually add controllers by using the manual setup. Select the controller type (here the DMP panel). Select the Controller Address from the drop down menu and the Controller Group from the drop down menu.

Click the “OK” button below to continue.

  1. Expand the hardware tree and click on the DMP panel. In the properties pane, you will need to enter the following information: IP Address, Port, Username, and Password.

Note: This information should be retrieved from the RemoteLink software.

Click the Save button to save your changes.  

  1. Starting the Driver:

Select the Driver in the hardware tree, right click on the driver, and select the “Start Driver” item from the “Driver Commands” menu.
