Links in alarm emails, searches, and reports are incorrect

If Symphony fails to detect the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or public IP address for the computer that hosts the Symphony Server, the links in alarm emails, searches, and reports might be incorrect. You can add the FQDN and IP address in the manual configuration editor to correct the links.

To add the FQDN, add the following values to the manual configuration editor:

Type: Server
Id: <server_id>
Section: Main
Key: FQDN
Value: <FQDN>

Where <server_id> is the ID of the Symphony Server and <FQDN> is the FQDN of the computer that hosts the Symphony Server.

To add the IP address, add the following values:

Type: Global
Id: <leave empty>
Section: Main
Key: ExternalIP
Value: <external_IP>

Where <external_IP> is the public IP address of the network that hosts the Symphony Server.
