How to Pause Camera Tour If Preset Detects Alarm

Applies to 6.14.2 and later.

To allow camera to pause on a PTZ tour on alarm:

  1. In Symphony, from the Server menu, select Manual Configuration Editor.
  2. Expand Type: Camera.
  3. Find the ID of your camera and expand it.
  4. Click the Add a new setting field.
  5. In the blank field under the Type, Section, ID, Key, and Value columns enter:
  6. Type: Camera
    Section: Camera
    ID: (Id of the camera)
    Key: PausePTZTourOnAlarm
    Value:True

    To configure the number of seconds the camera will pause:

  7. Click the Add a new setting field.
  8. In the blank field under the Type, Section, ID, Key, and Value columns enter:
  9. Type: Camera
    Section: Camera
    ID: (Id of the camera)
    Key: PausePTZTourOnAlarmSeconds
    Value: 60
    (where Value equals number of seconds)

  10. Click OK. (Verify that the setting has been added.)
  11. Click Close.
  12. Restart Symphony.

Important: To enable these settings for all PTZ cameras, set Type to Global and Section to Main.
