SSO Single Sign On (Windows authentication) not working with Symphony or other applications

Issue

SSO Single Sign On (Windows authentication) not working and you receive the following error:

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Windows Authentication Failed; You must enter the user and password.: Error: Unable to obtain security token: System.Security.SecurityException: WSE594: InitializeSecurityContext call failed with the following error message: The network path was not found.

Solution

  1. In Windows, go to Control Panel>Network and Sharing Center.
  2. If your Domain Network shows your domain name (for example, <my_domain_name>.local, followed by (Unauthenticated), then you must remove and add your computer to the domain. (This is typically done by joining workgroup and rejoining domain again, followed by restarting the machine. Domain username and password will be required. Ask your domain administrator for assistance.)
