How to lock a PTZ camera without disabling the Camera Tour

Add a custom setting to the Manual Configuration Editor, where Key = ToursMandatory.You can delete the last location from a camera tour and when you unlock a camera, it stays at its current position instead of going home.

Solution

Add a custom setting using the Manual Configuration Editor:

1. In Symphony, from the Server menu, select Manual Configuration Editor.
2. Expand Type: Server.
3. Find the ID of your camera and expand it.
4. Click the Add a new setting... field.
