Vivotek Camera FD7141 or FD7131 cannot receive I/O input alarm

Symptoms

I/O input alarm does not work with camera FD7141 or FD7131.

Probable Cause

Input Number in Event screen of Rule Wizard set to a value other than 0.

Solution

1. From the Server menu, select Configuration. The Server Configuration dialog box opens.
2. Click Rules.
3. Select the rule that triggers the alarm and click Edit. The Event screen opens.
4. Set the value in the Input Number field to 0.
