Off the Desk Another strong year for new product introductions at Aimetis We listen and learn from your feedback, and because of this we have launched new and better products from your suggestions. You may be surprised to know that all the feedback and suggestions we glean from our customers and partners contributes to around 50% of the product evolution. Here are some highlights: AEM and Cybersecurity The Spring 2017 Release of Aimetis Enterprise Manager (AEM), the cloud-based IT management solution is now live. This major release offers a new deployment model made possible through the introduction of the AEM Bridge PoE device. By utilizing AEM Bridge, AEM can manage network cameras without requiring Aimetis Symphony video management software. New features include centralized camera password and firmware management that help reduce attack vectors that hackers commonly exploit. Video Analytics Improvements Last September we launched Face Recognition and since then have made many improvements based on your feedback, including a powerful search function that can accelerate video review and help quickly identify subjects, saving both time and money. Our team has also continued progress in the world of embedded video analytics with the recent launch of Aimetis Crowd Detection and Aimetis Motion Tracker. Finally, significant improvements have been made to our Outdoor People and Vehicle Tracker to use HD analysis resolution allowing us to track objects farther from the camera without increasing processing requirements. The Best is Yet to Come Aimetis Symphony VMS and Aimetis Thin Client continue to evolve with many new features launching soon. As a teaser, Thin Client will soon be supported as a video wall controller from Symphony. Stay tuned for more product details and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
