Aimetis Symphony™ Enterprise surpassed Intellivision, Viasys and VideoIQ’s video analytics solutions in an independent product review conducted by integrator VideoControlRoom in partnership with A&S.

The Intelligent Video Shootout was designed to evaluate competitive Intelligent Video Systems (IVS) performance in a variety of environments and to see how they each perform specific tasks including object removal, object placed, driving wrong way and intrusion detection. Aimetis ranked highest overall with 'excellent' results in three of the four categories.

As part of an independent product review conducted by Steve Hunt of SecurityDreamer, Aimetis Symphony™ Enterprise outperformed both Milestone's and Verint's video management and video analytics solutions.

The study is the first 'hands-on' product review to quantitatively evaluate the industry leading solutions that combine video management and video analytics software. More than 100 points of criteria were evaluated across five categories – architecture, performance, ease-of-use, administration and value. Aimetis Symphony™ scored 4.4 out of a possible 5 points, while Verint and Milestone each scored 3.5.
