Marc Holtenhoff – Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Holtenhoff has close to 20 years of leadership experience at successful, growth oriented technology companies. At Aimetis, Mr. Holtenhoff is responsible for the organization's corporate strategy, financial performance and overall growth. Prior to Aimetis, Mr. Holtenhoff was the CEO of California based 1GlobalPlace, Inc., an IT security company funded by Reuters €450 Venture Capital Fund. Mr. Holtenhoff led the company from inception to its successful acquisition by VeriSign, a $5 billion technology security and communications company. Previously, Mr. Holtenhoff held a variety of enterprise sales and marketing management positions at the Xerox Corporation. Mr. Holtenhoff holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and a Bachelor's degree from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Mike Janzen – Chief Software Architect, Director, and Founder

Mr. Janzen co-founded Aimetis after over two years of research and development in the fields of computer vision and artificial intelligence. Mr. Janzen is responsible for formulating the company's technology strategy, research and development initiatives, and overall network infrastructure management. Mr. Janzen graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honors Bachelor of Math and Computer Science degree in 2000. In 2001, Mr. Janzen developed a distributed agricultural database system which was sold to farms.com. In 2002, Mr. Janzen designed a distributed network vulnerability detection system called Network Explorer that is able to use multiple computers to scan the entire Internet for vulnerable machines in under six hours.

Justin Schorn – Vice President, Product Management, Director, and Founder

Mr. Schorn co-founded Aimetis, where he oversees the operation and product development. Mr. Schorn's technical knowledge combined with his business expertise provides a valuable addition to Aimetis' management team. Mr. Schorn previously worked at DALSA, a global leader in digital imaging, in the IT department. Mr. Schorn graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors degree in Political Science.

Richard Caballero – Vice President, Mass Market Sales

Mr. Caballero brings to Aimetis over 15 years of channel management experience in Fortune 500 companies worldwide. At Aimetis, he is responsible for leading the company's sales activities through distributors and system integrators. Prior to Aimetis, Mr. Caballero was at Ingram Micro, the largest IT distribution company in the world, where he managed the Services Division, responsible for growing the managed services revenue and partner acquisition. Prior to this role, he managed Ingram's premier partner communities overseeing Ingram's IP Surveillance practice. Prior to Ingram, Mr. Caballero worked at Corel Corporation based in Ottawa as a Senior Product Manager and over 10 years with Hewlett Packard where he held several positions in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, including Senior Business Development Manager and Channel Development Manager roles. Mr. Caballero holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from York University.

Dave Thompson – Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in software development working at a variety of high-tech firms. At Aimetis, he is responsible for leading the development, testing, and delivery of Aimetis' software products. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Engineering Excellence at Blue Coat Systems, where he led the continuous quality improvement initiatives across a 300 plus member engineering organization. Prior to Blue Coat, Mr. Thompson served at Invensys Process Systems as Director of Process Improvement in their 650 person engineering organization and also as Director of Product Development and Support for their Avantis business unit specializing in asset management software. Prior to this, Mr. Thompson was Director of R&D for i2 Technologies (now part of JDA Software Group) developing supply chain management software, and he also served in a variety of engineering leadership roles at Sybase (now an SAP Company), DEFT Software, and Disus Consulting. Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Jamie Hari – Manager of Customer Support

Mr. Hari has more than 12 years experience in the customer service industry, including working for two Fortune 500 companies. With Aimetis, Mr. Hari is responsible for the management of the internal customer support team. Previous to Aimetis, he was a senior Product Specialist at Open Text, the largest software company in Canada. His extensive background includes direct experience in telecommunications and finance, in addition to the software industry. He has done consultative work for both private and government contracts and has been invited to speak at several conferences, including an opportunity at Harvard University. Mr. Hari studied Computer Science at the University of Waterloo.


Non-Management Board of Directors

Rein Raud – Director

Mr. Raud is a seasoned executive in the security space. Most recently, Mr. Raud was VP/GM of Honeywell International's $550 million security division. Mr. Raud has extensive M&A experience, including leading the acquisition and integration of the $1.6B Pittway Corporation into Honeywell in 2002. Mr. Raud holds an Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, with continued advanced management studies at Harvard University.

Phil Reddon – Director

Mr. Reddon has 20 years of investment experience in technology companies. He is currently the Managing Director of Covington Capital where is responsible for the venture firms' new investment opportunities and managing existing investments. Prior to joining Covington, Mr. Reddon spent six years at the Bank of Montreal Capital Corporation as Managing Director for a $400 million private equity fund. He was head of the Technology Investment team, and sat on the investment committee, which was involved in the investment and approval process for over 60 companies. Prior to BMO Capital, Mr. Reddon held various positions at the Business Development Bank of Canada. During Mr. Reddon's investment career, he has served as a board member on dozens of companies and oversaw successful exits of portfolio companies.

Jim Whitaker – Director

Jim Whitaker joined the predecessor manager of the VentureLink Group of Funds in March 2003 after more than eight years with Working Ventures Canadian Fund Inc., where he led the Information Technology Team and was a member of the Management Investment Committee. While at Working Ventures, Jim led investments or acted as a board member in approximately twenty companies. Prior to joining Working Ventures, Mr. Whitaker worked in a number of practice areas at Ernst & Young providing financial advisory services to mid-market companies in a wide range of industries. Mr. Whitaker is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator.
