Aimetis Announces VE Series
Expanded Video Analytics Portfolio for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); Available on Embedded Systems and General Purpose Computer Platforms.

Aimetis Corp., the leader in Intelligent Video software, announced today the availability of the VE Series video analytics software for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The VE Series offers several analytics algorithms, enabling unique Intelligent Video solutions for physical security, retail, banking, and transportation markets. These analytics are available for both general purpose computer systems as well as digital media processors (DSPs) from leading silicon manufacturers.

Embedding VE Series analytics on edge devices, such as network cameras and encoders, can significantly reduce back-end hardware and increase broadband efficiency in network video solutions.
Sample applications include perimeter breach protection, directional alarming, foreign object detection, people counting, spill detection, among others. Devices integrating the VE Series will also be supported by Aimetis' Open-IP Surveillance software, AIRA v5.
