Videor Technical and Aimetis Sign Distribution Partnership Agreement
Multi-year agreement between Aimetis and Videor Technical to meet growing European demand for intelligent video management software

Videor Technical, a leading distributor of professional video products, and Aimetis Corp., the leader in intelligent video software, today announced the signing of a distribution agreement. Through this agreement, Videor Technical will distribute Aimetis intelligent software products throughout Europe.

The company’s bi-annual product catalog, which boasts over 30,000 subscribers, offers products from leading manufacturers such as Axis, Dallmeir, Dedicated Micros, GE, Pelco, VCS and several other quality brands. The Videor Technical’s wide product range incorporates components and complete solutions from the Video Security, Video Networking and Video Professional sectors.

Aimetis develops advanced intelligent video management software that can detect or prevent threatening events in real-time. Using artificial intelligence called "computer vision", Aimetis software analyzes incoming video against user-defined security policies or rules. When an event violates a policy, such as a person entering a restricted area or a vehicle parking in a forbidden zone, Aimetis software will automatically execute counter-measures such as alerting security via email, sounding an audible alarm, or automatically controlling a Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera.
